RAILWAY SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REGULATIONS

INTERPRETATION (s)
disabling injury
disabling injury has the meaning An injury causing death, permanent disability or any degree of temporary total disability beyond the day of the injury.

minor injury
minor injury has the meaning a personal injury that does not result in :
permanent serious disfigurement, a permanent serious impairment of an important bodily function caused by continuing injury which is physical in nature

reporting criteria
reporting criteria means :
(a) in respect of an accident, the criteria set out in the definition "reportable railway accident" in subsection Penyidikan Kecelakaan of the Directorate Generals of Railways Regulations; and
(b) in respect of an incident, the criteria set out in the definition "reportable railway incident" in subsection Penyidikan Kecelakaan of the Directorate Generals of Railways Regulations.

risk
risk means the chance of injury or loss measured as the probability and severity of an adverse effect on health, property, the environment or other things of value.

risk control strategy
risk control strategy means a course of action intended to reduce the frequency or severity of injury or loss, including a decision not to engage in or not to continue an activity.
